Damian Sciano
Director, Distribution Planning of Con EdisonDamian Sciano is Director of Distribution Planning at Con Edison where he oversees the company’s evolving Distributed System Implementation Plan (DSIP ) and Distributed Service Platform (DSP) designed to integrate distributed energy resources, like solar energy, into the traditional electric distribution system. Damian has over 28 years of utility experience working as a developer of cogeneration projects for Trigen Energy as well as working in power generation, strategic planning, electrical engineering and, most recently, as Senior System Operator at Con Edison’s Energy Control Center. Damian is a professional engineer in New York State and holds a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU-Polytechnic School of Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College.
Maria Fields
Senior Vice President, Business Development at JouleSmart BuildingsMaria Fields leads business development efforts for JouleSmart. Maria is responsible for delivery of the solution through partnerships including municipal and community organizations; local contractors; commercial networks and utilities. Maria drives marketing and sales efforts to both consumers and channel partners and seeks out expansion opportunities for the Company’s offering. Maria also pursues market opportunities in Distributed Energy Resources including energy efficiency, demand response, storage, and microgrids. She earned an M.B.A. with high honors from Columbia University, and also holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and B.F.A., both from Lehigh University.
Stephen King
Director of Transparent EnergyStephen King has over 20 years of regulated and deregulated energy experience including numerous positions in corporate management, sales and business development. He has served as Sr. Director of Sales at AEP, Vice President at Strategic Energy, and Vice President of Sales with Constellation NewEnergy. Mr. King joined Transparent Energy in August 2016 and fills the role of President – Sales.
Mr. King currently sits on the board of the New York Hospitality and Tourism Association as well as a Chairman position to The Energy Professional Association (TEPA). Mr. King is a recognized leader within the energy industry with a long track record of success.
Stephen received his BS in Business and Marketing from NYU.
