Bert is active in the business and non-profit community, serving as president of the Health & Business Alliance, a consortium of healthcare, non-profit and business entities. He serves on the President’s Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, is a member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellness Committee, and is a member of the Long Island Elite (LIE).
