Finding and Keeping Qualified People in a Tight Labor Market
Businesses will receive information to help them solve their staffing challenges from experienced human resource leaders and workforce trainers. Panel one will include HR experts from Con Edison, Investors Bank and Verizon identifying candidates with strong customer service skills, hiring staff with the tech skills you need, finding talent in the gig economy, and keeping up with regulations and requirements. During the second panel, leading workforce organizations will talk about how they partner with businesses to recruit, develop and retain talent. Workforce organizations will also be at information tables to discuss possible partnerships and provide information. This symposium--a full morning of education and networking-- is intended for small or medium-sized business leaders, HR directors or anyone interested in best practices in hiring and retaining qualified staff.
