Dr. Sergio M. Montolio, was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the South Bronx. Dr. Montolio, has dedicated most of his life providing services to minority communities as a business owner and as a law enforcement officer for the (New York City Police Department) NYPD. Dr. Montolio, has owned multiple businesses in New York City. Dr. Montolio, is a certified trainer for the state of New York Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).
Dr. Montolio, is the founder of S.M. Consulting Associates Corp. and SM Worldwide Training Services Inc. His expertise consist in: Business Leadership, Management, and Business Administration; Public Policy, Public Administration, and Criminal Justice. Dr. Montolio, is an experience educator, strategies, mentor, coach and speaker. An Entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience running his own businesses and assisting in delivering innovative solutions to local and international businesses in the U.S. and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Montolio, earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in public administration & Inspectors General from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He earned a Doctorate degree in Philosophy – “Public policy and Administration” from Walden University. Dr. Montolio, has obtained many states certifications in Leadership, and Executive Leadership from the National Society of Leadership and success.
Dr. Montolio, has been honored and inducted in the International Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration (PI ALPHA ALPHA) as well as in the National Society of Leadership and success (SIGMA ALPHA PI). Dr. Montolio was honored and given citations from the NYC Council, NYS Assembly, Morrisania Revitalization Corporation (MRC), NYC Growing Providers (Brooklyn Library), New York City Police Department (NYCPD) and the United States Secret Service for his dedication to his community.
