Margaret T. Ling has been a real estate attorney since 1986. Her real estate experience commenced with a private real estate practice for almost a decade. Prior to practicing as a real estate attorney, Margaret was a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Constance Baker Motley of the United States District Court –Southern District of New York. Following her clerkship, Margaret focused on the area of immigration law before transitioning into real estate law.
For over the past twenty years, Margaret has been in house counsel in the title insurance industry. Currently, is Senior Underwriting Counsel at MacGregor Abstract Corporation. Her experience is multi-faceted and includes positions as Senior Underwriting Counsel positions at First Nationwide Title Agency, LLC; Skyline TRG Title Agency; Summit Associates, LLC; Liberty Title Agency, LLC and Legal Counsel positions at Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group; Landstar Title Agency, Inc.; Intracoastal Abstract Co., Inc. and Titleserv, Inc. In those positions, Margaret was responsible for all legal title underwriting; reading; clearing and processing all title files for closing. She coordinated all title underwriting requirements with the Agent’s respective Title Underwriters and also addressed all post-closing escrow and policy matters.
Margaret received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Cum Laude and Dean’s List from Barnard College – Columbia University and her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, Appellate Division, and Second Department.
Margaret currently serves as Co-Chairperson of the Asian American Bar Association of New York Real Estate Committee and the Asia Practice Committee. Margaret was also a former Board of Director. In 2013, Margaret was awarded the “Most Valuable Player Award” for outstanding dedication and service to AABANY. This year, Margaret was appointed to be AABANY’s Delegate to the Network of Bar Leaders. She is also a Member of the Executive Council of the Network of Bar Leaders.
More recently, Margaret was appointed as the Chairman of the Law and Banking Committee of the Queens County Chamber of Commerce.
Amol Pachnanda concentrates his practice in representing landlords and tenants in their leasing of space nationwide. He understands the issues facing landlords and tenants in large- and small-scale leasing for office and retail uses and as a result is able to achieve the desired results for his clients in an innovative and cost-effective manner. Amol also has experience in representing clients in the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial and multi-family properties throughout the United States. Since 2005, Amol has represented a U.S.- based company in all of its office leasing activities in India, totaling approximately 3 million square feet.
Amol frequently lectures and gives CLE presentation on various leasing topics. Recently, he was a speaker at The National Retail Tenants Association annual meeting on the issues facing tenants in International leasing transactions. Amol also presented a CLE entitled "Don't Forget the Dirt! Leasing and Real Property Issues Not to Be Missed in Corporate Transactions” at the New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Prior to joining Ingram, Amol was an associate at Damon & Morey. Amol has been named to the New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars List and has been named to the Super Lawyers List
Anthony is Practice Leader in the Litigation, Forensic and Valuation Services Group at Anchin, Block & Anchin, an accounting and advisory firm of nearly 400 Partners and staff. Anthony is also a member of Anchin’s COVID-19 Resource Team. He has 20 years of experience as a CPA and more than 15 years of litigation support and forensic accounting experience. Anthony specializes in investigative and forensic accounting services in connection with business fraud investigations, damage calculations, internal corporate investigations, matrimonial matters, post-closing M&A disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes and accountants’ professional liability matters. He conducts fraud investigations, assisting victims in civil litigation and criminal prosecution as well as integrity monitoring, and asset tracing and recovery. Anthony frequently assists attorneys in the calculation of economic damages in contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes and other litigated matters. Anthony also has more than 10 years of experience providing audit and accounting, tax and business consulting services to companies in a wide range of industries.
Anthony also is a frequent lecturer to CPAs and business owners on forensic accounting matters as well as to attorneys on topics related to his areas of expertise.
Anthony Kammas is President of Skyline Risk Management, President-elect of the
Professional Insurance Association (PIA) of N.Y., and a proud board member of both the
Queens & Bronx Building Association (QBBA) and the Hellenic American Leadership Council.
With over a decade of industry experience, Anthony is a proven leader in his field. Anthony
focuses on property & casualty insurance with a specific concentration on construction and
commercial real estate development. He is focused on helping his clients mitigate risk and
protect their valuable assets and interests. Under his guidance, Skyline Risk Management
has procured insurance coverage for over $3.5 billion worth of ground up new construction in
NYC over the last 5 years.
William Hao is counsel in Alston & Bird’s Financial Restructuring & Reorganization Group. William is experienced in a wide range of bankruptcy, litigation, and out-of-court restructuring matters. He represents secured creditors, hedge funds, trade creditors, lessors and lessees, and other parties-in-interest in distressed situations and in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings such as avoidance actions, claims litigation, and the assumption and rejection of contracts and leases. William also has extensive experience representing parties in securitizations and other structured finance products in distressed situations and in commercial litigation. William regularly advises clients on bankruptcy issues in connection with finance and M&A transactions.
William is the treasurer of the Asian American Bar Association of New York and a co-chair of its Commercial Bankruptcy and Restructuring Committee. William also serves as a co-chair of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditors’/Debtors’ Rights Committee of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
William H. Ng is a shareholder at Littler Mendelson, P.C., a global labor & employment law firm devoted exclusively to representing management and employers. William represents and advises private and public employers in various aspects of labor and employment law. His practice focuses on defending businesses and companies in employment litigation matters and wage and hour class and collective actions. In addition to his litigation practice, he regularly counsels employers on their workplace policies and practices for compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
Prior to joining Littler, William was as an Assistant Corporation Counsel and Senior Counsel in the Tort and Labor & Employment Law Divisions of the New York City Law Department. William is an active member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) and has served in numerous leadership positions including Vice President of Finance & Development, Recording Secretary, and Director. William received his B.A. from Binghamton University, cum laude, in 2004 and his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2007. William is a graduate of St. Francis Preparatory High School and also a lifelong resident of Queens, New York.
