Are you a local businessowner, an entrepreneur, or simply curious about how city certifications work? Then join the Queens Chamber of Commerce, New York City Council Member for District 28 Adrienne Adams, the Queens Economic Development Corporation, and a whole host of officials from city agencies at Resorts Worlds Casino on Friday, February 28th for our Small Business & M/WBE Forum.

In this forum you can expect a business resource panel that will go over a variety of different topics relating to certifications, tables filled with different resources from the city, and a catered lunch.

Our keynote speaker for this event will be:

This event has complimentary entry and is open to the public and lunch will be provided.

This event will be held in the Central Park Event Space of Resorts World Casino. Please take the elevator in the main entrance to the third floor in order to reach the proper venue.

Free outdoor parking is available at any of the surface lots. A $5 fee applies for Garage Parking. Cash is not accepted. The best way to access the parking is through the Rockaway Boulevard parking ramp

Tom’s career has spanned the printing and publishing industries over the past 25 years with RR Donnelley & Sons Company, Merrill Corporation and SONY DADC. For the past five years, he has been involved in the energy industry. Most recently, Tom was Director of Sales for CCI Energy Solutions, Inc.

His other interests include investing in multi-family real estate, adviser to non-profit and for-profit boards.

Originally from Astoria, Tom lives in Malverne, NY with his wife and their daughter and son. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA with a BS in Accounting and received his MBA in International Business from Manhattan College, Riverdale, NY.

He has served as President & CEO of Queens Chamber of Commerce since July of 2015.
