Join Catholic Health for a complimentary prostate cancer screening on Monday, April 3, 2023 at the Bulova Corporate Center. This event is supported by the Queens Chamber of Commerce and will be serving men who have not had a PSA blood test done in the last 6 months.
These free screening are for:
- Men who have not had a PSA blood test done in the last 6 months
- Men ages 40+ at high risk due to African American heredity, family history and/or personal history
- Asymptomatic men over age 50
By appointment only:
- This screening will be a PSA blood test only
- The doctor will be available for Q&A and counseling for those who have been screened

Atalla
Christopher Atalla, DO, is Director of Men’s Health at Catholic Health’s Good Samaritan University Hospital. Dr. Atalla is currently a urologist with Suffolk Urology in Bay Shore, a member of Catholic Health Physician Partners. A graduate of New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), he received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. He completed his Residency in Urology at Detroit Medical Center and received his Urologic Oncology Fellowship from Metro Urology in Minneapolis, MN.
Dr. Atalla provides high quality care for urologic conditions that affect both men and women. With the latest advanced technology, such as robotic-assisted surgery, he provides some of the region’s best outcomes for prostate, kidney and bladder cancer.
