Margaret T. Ling has been a real estate attorney since 1986. Her real estate experience commenced with a private real estate practice for almost a decade. Prior to practicing as a real estate attorney, Margaret was a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Constance Baker Motley of the United States District Court –Southern District of New York. Following her clerkship, Margaret focused on the area of immigration law before transitioning into real estate law.

For over the past twenty years, Margaret has been in house counsel in the title insurance industry. Currently, is Senior Underwriting Counsel at MacGregor Abstract Corporation. Her experience is multi-faceted and includes positions as Senior Underwriting Counsel positions at First Nationwide Title Agency, LLC; Skyline TRG Title Agency; Summit Associates, LLC; Liberty Title Agency, LLC and Legal Counsel positions at Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group; Landstar Title Agency, Inc.; Intracoastal Abstract Co., Inc. and Titleserv, Inc. In those positions, Margaret was responsible for all legal title underwriting; reading; clearing and processing all title files for closing. She coordinated all title underwriting requirements with the Agent’s respective Title Underwriters and also addressed all post-closing escrow and policy matters.

Margaret received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Cum Laude and Dean’s List from Barnard College – Columbia University and her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, Appellate Division, and Second Department.

Margaret currently serves as Co-Chairperson of the Asian American Bar Association of New York Real Estate Committee and the Asia Practice Committee. Margaret was also a former Board of Director. In 2013, Margaret was awarded the “Most Valuable Player Award” for outstanding dedication and service to AABANY. This year, Margaret was appointed to be AABANY’s Delegate to the Network of Bar Leaders. She is also a Member of the Executive Council of the Network of Bar Leaders.

More recently, Margaret was appointed as the Chairman of the Law and Banking Committee of the Queens County Chamber of Commerce.

Jonathan L. Bing is a Shareholder in the New York City and Albany offices of Greenberg Traurig. He is a member of the firm's national Government Law and Policy group, and has an active role in the firm’s New York hospitality law practice. Jonathan represents corporations, associations and nonprofits in the entertainment, financial services, health care, transportation, and social services industries in a broad range of advocacy including advancing legislation, securing funding; and, cutting through government bureaucracy. Prior to Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Bing served at the request of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo as a Special Deputy Superintendent at the New York State Department of Financial Services, and previously was elected to five terms representing the East Side of Manhattan in the New York State Assembly where he authored three dozen New York State laws including 9/11 clean-up worker health care legislation and the no-fault divorce law.

Jonathan’s practice extends to the hospitality field, where he advocates for clients ranging from local bars and eateries to large restaurant and hotel chains. He represents his clients’ interests on liquor licensing and related matters before community boards and city agencies, as well as New York State Liquor Authority hearing officers and commissioners. Jonathan works with the small business and hospitality community regularly as a Board Member of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, an appointed member of the New York City Bar Association Committee on Hospitality and Restaurants, and a member of the Steering Committee of the Association for a Better New York.

Andrew Rigie is the Executive Director of the New York City Hospitality Alliance, an association representing restaurants and nightlife venues throughout the five boroughs.

Andrew was born into the hospitality business, working at his family’s third generation bakery in Queens, NY. He later “got his apron dirty” by working multiple positions within the industry before joining the New York State Restaurant Association in 2004. There he recruited members, was a grassroots organizer, and provided resources and consulting services to restaurant operators, including its Nightlife Association chapter that represented bars and nightclubs. In 2009, Andrew took the helm of the 80+ year old Association's New York City operations as its Executive Vice President.

Rigie utilized the knowledge he gained working inside the industry and on its behalf, to become the founding executive director who launched the independent New York City Hospitality Alliance in 2012. Since then, The Alliance has grown into a premier organization delivering information, education, services and representing thousands of restaurants and nightlife venues in the halls of government and in the media.

In addition to his executive duties, Rigie serves on multiple advisory boards ranging from regulation to education. Notably, he is the Chair of New York City’s Office of Nightlife Advisory Board and Vice Chair of Community Board 7 (Manhattan). He is a vocal industry advocate, public speaker, frequent panelist and moderator, host of the Hospitality & Politics podcast, Forbes and Total Food Service News contributing author, and recognized commentator on local, national and international media platforms. City & State listed Rigie on their 40 Under 40 list of “Rising Stars: Next Generation of Political Leaders, as did Hunter College with their Stars in NYC Food Policy recognition." Rigie is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan.

Caterina Skenderi is the current Chief Operating officer of the applauded Taverna Kyclades (“TK”) with locations in Manhattan, Queens and the TK flagship location, Astoria, New York.

Caterina works side by side with her TK team to earn TK award after award from the Best Seafood Restaurant in Zagats, to the Best Calamari in Queens, to the Hospitality Award from the NYC Hospitality Alliance in 2016.

Caterina was raised and educated in the community she now raises her four (4) children and where she and her husband, Andrea Skenderi began their first small family Greek style restaurant, Taverna Kyclades/Astoria.
