Amanda Beekharry Assistant Director of Marketing at Queens Public Library Amanda Beekharry is a marketing professional with 10 years of experience and is currently the Assistant Director of Marketing at Queens Public Library. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising at New York Institute of Technology. She specializes in digital marketing, which includes social media, email, search engine, acquisition marketing, and brand management. One of her latest accomplishments was managing the rebrand of Queens Public Library in April 2019.
Jared Mintz Director of Communications at Commonpoint Queens When Jared became Sam Field’s Interactive Marketing Coordinator in 2011, he was tasked with creating and developing an online presence for an organization struggling to find its place in a fast moving digital age. What made Jared the best person for the job was his natural ability to create partnership and community in a place where he worked in multiple roles as a teen and young adult. Within months of joining the team, the agency’s social media followers grew significantly, google rankings went from being in the teens and twenties to being number 1 across the board, and digital communications were streamlined. When the Sam Field Center merged with Central Queens in 2017, Jared began working closer with the team in Forest Hills to best understand the needs of the agency moving forward, which ultimately led to him taking the lead as the brand ambassador for Commonpoint Queens. Jared’s work with outside consultants, key staff and community members was the catalyst in launching the Commonpoint Queens brand, one that is recognizable across the city of New York and the surrounding area. Jared now oversees all communications, digital, marketing and branding efforts for the agency, including working as the marketing lead for Island Quest Day Camp with several other Long Island JCCs. Jared graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Hartford in 2007 and worked in ESPN’s Stats and Information department and before joining the team at Commonpoint Queens.
