The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) will be kicking off its celebration of National Small Business Week with planned events throughout NYC's five boroughs starting May 2nd through May 6th. May 5, 2022 will be Queens Day at the Manuel de Dios Unanue Plaza in Jackson Heights. (83rd St and Roosevelt Avenue).
Join the Queens Chamber of Commerce, 82nd Street Partnership, NUC SBS and our community partners for an afternoon of business resources and entertainment.
The Small Business Week events will raise awareness of the many resources and services SBS and its community partners offer, encourage New Yorkers to shop local, and celebrate the reopening of the City's small businesses as economic recovery efforts ramp up.
The celebration in each borough will feature neighborhood-specific themes and entertainment, starting with a speaking program, giveaways, and a resource fair where small businesses will learn about SBS services including business mentorship, financial and legal assistance, and meet with representatives from a variety of City agencies, and community partners.
This event is open to the public, complimentary admission!
