Home Please join the Queens Chamber for our new QCIC Student Series. For this webinar we'll be joined once again by Margaret Ling - attorney at Big Apple Abstract. She'll go over her career, how she got started, the current landscape of law and how you can get your foot in the door. She'll also be joined by a two current law students who will give their perspectives on getting into law school, getting through the program, picking an expertise, and how they've started or are planning on starting their careers.

Justin Chan Law Student at New York Law School
Justin Chan Law Student at New York Law School Justin Chan is a 3L student at New York Law School and will be graduating this upcoming May. He attended Gonzaga University to study political science and international relations during his undergraduate years. He is a first generation Chinese American born from Seattle, Washington and the first in his family to get an undergraduate degree and JD. He came to New York Law School, to achieve his dream of becoming an attorney. Having lived his whole life on the west coast, he wanted to explore and came to the East Coast. During his free time he likes to ski, watch sports, and play basketball.
Carl Chen
Carl Chen Carl Chen is a 3L at Hofstra Law. He was born in Flushing and grew up between Queens and Long Island. Carl graduated from Queens College majoring in Finance and Economics. He’s spent his summers drafting motions and memos to state and federal courts for litigation firms. Carl is also Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue belt and can often be found with a cup of black coffee.
