The purpose of this course is to introduce what OSHA is and what OSHA can do for people in the construction industry

OBJECTIVES


Upon successful completion of this lesson, students will be able to:


  • Explain why OSHA is important to workers
  • Explain worker rights under OSHA
  • Discuss employer responsibilities under OSHA
  • Discuss the use of OSHA standards
  • Explain how OSHA inspections are conducted
  • Utilize helpful worker safety and health resources

















After the two days training, the participants will have an improved

attitude & knowledge of the importance of safety and will be able to identify the most

common hazards associated with the construction industry.

Students will understand the role of OSHA and know their rights to safety and health as

workers.

(4) Caught-In or Between (e.g., trench hazards, equipment)
