Keisha Christian is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and renowned non-fiction author. She has earned several awards and nominations including, B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree for her Nonfiction Books Healthy Gemz and Holistic Gemz, the IAN award in Nonfiction: Outstanding Education/Reference for Holistic Gemz. She is also a finalist for The Wishing Shelf Independent Book Award for Nonfiction Book Holistic Gemz, Indie Diamond Book Award for Nonfiction Book Holistic Gemz, Next Generation Indie Book Award for Nonfiction Book, Holistic Gemz, and ACHI Magazine Awards Nominee for Health & Wellness, Author of the Year, and Educator of the Year. Julia D. Shaw has an extensive career that spans over twenty-five years with experience in program development, public relations, marketing, book publishing, event management and community service. Shaw is a Co-Publisher and author who has compiled and published four book compilations that have become Amazon bestsellers entitled, Our Stories, Our Voices: Black Men Speak Their Truth; Delayed But Not Denied 1: 20 Stories about Life and Resiliency; Delayed But Not Denied 2: Real Stories about Hope, Faith and Triumph and Delayed But Not Denied Book 3: Real People Sharing Stories About Healing and Growth. These books have allowed over sixty writers to become published Co-Authors.

Julia, recently rekindled a childhood dream to be a mixed-media artist and share her art with the world. In November 2016, Shaw started attending the intergenerational art class taught by Art Transforms. Her artwork has been exhibited at Rochdale Village Community Center and Jamaica Center for Arts, Learning in a Social Justice Art Show and several Southeastern Queens Park Association (SQPA) Annual Art Exhibitions. Julia is currently creating collection of home décor vases with African prints, and mixed media artworks.

Ms. Shaw currently serves as the Director of the Rochdale Village Community Center in Jamaica, New York. Ms. Shaw spearheads the development and implementation of cultural events, educational workshops, intergenerational activities, at Rochdale Village, Inc. Shaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from York College. Julia has two beautiful daughters and three wonderful grandchildren and she resides in Jamaica, NY
