In February, a new consumer protection law went into effect that amended and clarified New York's existing credit card surcharge laws. In response, the Five Chamber Alliance is hosting a webinar on Monday, March 4, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM, that will examine what the amended law means for small businesses and how business owners can remain compliant and avoid fines.
Katie Sherwin, Director, Consumer Services Unit, Division of Consumer Protection, New York Department of State, will present.
