NYC's new Local Law 97 of 2019 requires buildings larger than 25,000 square feet to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40 percent by 2030, and 80 percent by 2050, or face substantial fines.

At this event, a group of top energy experts, industry leaders and professionals from the Queens Chamber's Energy & Environmental Committee will discuss the impacts of these new energy laws.

The panel will focus mainly on the positive impacts, namely the opportunity to dramatically improve operational costs while still being in compliance. Attendees will learn about cost-effective solutions that will produce measured, verified, guaranteed and insured greenhouse gas reductions and economic returns, with little or no out-of-pocket expenses.

This event is designed for property owners and building managers in the residential, commercial, industrial and multifamily arena.
