Rick Cotton Executive Director of The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Rick Cotton became the Executive Director of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on August 14, 2017. Prior to joining the Port Authority, since January 2015, Mr. Cotton served as Governor Cuomo's Special Counsellor for Interagency Initiatives, serving as the point person within the Governor's office for most of the Governor's major downstate infrastructure priorities including LaGuardia and JFK Airports, the Moynihan Train Hall and Penn-Farley Complex, the new Tappan Zee Bridge, the expansion of the Javits Center, and the MTA's Second Avenue Subway project. Mr. Cotton joined the administration following 25 years at NBC Universal, where he held a number of positions beginning in 1989, including 20 years as EVP and General Counsel and four years in London as President and Managing Director of CNBC Europe. He also served as Executive Secretary to the Department at the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare under Secretary Joseph A. Califano, Jr. and Special Assistant for Renewable Energy to Deputy Secretary of Energy John Sawhill at the U.S. Department of Energy. Mr. Cotton received an A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Yale Law School, and served as a law clerk to Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. on the U.S. Supreme Court.
Thomas J. Grech President & CEO of Queens Chamber of Commerce Tom’s career has spanned the printing and publishing industries over the past 25 years with RR Donnelley & Sons Company, Merrill Corporation and SONY DADC. For the past five years, he has been involved in the energy industry. Most recently, Tom was Director of Sales for CCI Energy Solutions, Inc. His other interests include investing in multi-family real estate, adviser to non-profit and for-profit boards. Originally from Astoria, Tom lives in Malverne, NY with his wife and their daughter and son. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA with a BS in Accounting and received his MBA in International Business from Manhattan College, Riverdale, NY. He has served as President & CEO of Queens Chamber of Commerce since July of 2015.

In this role, Stephanie is responsible for JFK operations, including 225 peak-day departures serving 97 destinations worldwide. She leads a team of over 2000 Airport Customer Service employees. Stephanie joined team JFK in 2009 as Director – Above-Wing Operations, and over the course of her tenure, the station saw significant network growth as well as the opening of a state-of-the-art international gateway at JFK’s Terminal 4. Most recently, Stephanie was responsible for 40 cities across the east as Director – Airport Operations, East Field Stations. Her career at Delta has spanned the Airport Customer Service organization since she began as a temporary part-time Customer Service Agent in 1988 in Cincinnati. She served as Duty Manager at Washington Dulles International Airport in 2000, where she led the team through the events of 9/11. She later served as Station Manager – Detroit Metropolitan Airport; Station Manager – Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport; and Field Director – East Region Stations. Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Northern Kentucky University and an MBA from Xavier University, Cincinnati.

In this role, Mike oversees the entire operation for Newark Liberty International Airport, which averages more than 420 daily departures combined. He leads a team of more than 14,000 employees. Additionally, Mike has oversight to the mid-Atlantic hub of Washington-Dulles, which averages more than 245 daily departures to more than 100 destinations world-wide with nearly 4,200 employees. Prior to this position, Mike served as managing director of station operations control center at the Company’s Houston hub. He joined United in 1993 at Newark as a ramp service employee and has a wide variety of work experience over his 25-year career including roles in customer service, ramp operations, station operations, safety, risk management, GSE maintenance, reservations and a general manager position for several years. Mike is married and has two children.

Before joining Sabre in 2000, Jeff served as Vice President Government Affairs at Airports Council International- North America, and as the Director of Government and International Affairs for the City of Chicago Department of Aviation. He previously was chief of staff and legislative director to Congressman William O. Lipinski. Jeff earned a Master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in transportation and logistics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in politics from Brandeis University.
