Early in his career, Larry developed a passion for business as he managed a popular five-star restaurant in historic Bay Ridge. Combining his hands-on experience with a valuable academic foundation, Larry earned a B.A. degree in Finance and Management from the College of Staten Island. After graduating in 1986, Larry purchased, RDS Same Day Delivery Service from his father Mitchell Zogby Jr., who bought the business in 1973. For over 34 years, Larry has taken the family business under his wing to make RDS Delivery a recognized and premier courier service company. As a native New Yorker, Larry relied on his roots to develop the most comprehensive and professional delivery network in the New York metropolitan and tri-state area. RDS Same Day Delivery is privileged to continually expand its reach and serve a wide range of industries. Stacey Pheffer Amato Assembly Member District 23 at New York State Assembly Stacey Pheffer Amato is proud to represent the New York State Assembly's 23rd District, encompassing the Queens neighborhoods of Broad Channel, Hamilton Beach, Howard Beach, Lindenwood, Ozone Park and the Rockaway Peninsula. Stacey’s mother, Queens County Clerk Audrey I. Pheffer, previously held this Assembly seat for over twenty-five years, and upon Stacey’s election, they became the first mother-daughter team to hold the same seat in the New York State Legislature. Born in Rockaway, Stacey has a longstanding commitment to community advocacy and involvement. Stacey has served as President of the parent associations at her children's schools, most notably stepping up to the plate when the entire school was displaced as a result of Superstorm Sandy, despite her own family’s displacement. Additionally, she has been an active member of the Rockaway Beach Civic Association for over 15 years and serves on the NY Rising Community Reconstruction Program-Rockaway West Committee, which is tasked with overseeing the state's storm recovery efforts. Prior to holding office, Stacey worked as an education paraprofessional for the NYC Department of Education and as a Procurement Specialist for the FDNY and the NYC Department of Sanitation. Stacey has never shied away from stepping up to advocate for causes she feels passionate about. In Albany, Stacey is an outspoken advocate for our hardworking families, veterans, and seniors. Being recognized for her efforts, Stacey was appointed Chair of the Child Product Safety Subcommittee along with serving on the Veterans’ Affairs, Corporations, Authorities, Commissions, Governmental Employees, and Racing & Wagering Committees. In addition, she is a member of the Legislative Women’s Caucus and Women’s Issues Task Force."
Sher Sparano Senior Vice President NY Market Manager at Onegroup Sher Sparano has over 30 year of experience in the health care industry. Sher has held positions at all levels in the employee benefits and health care arena, to include working as a benefits specialist for multiple hospitals/medical centers, as an administrator for the New York State Nurses Benefits and Pension Funds, as a senior executive at Empire BlueCross/Blue Shield and as a vice president of BlueCross Maryland's manage care division. Sher has also been responsible in the direction of many health care components such as benefit design and implementation, negotiations, participant enrollment, education, customer service and consulting, underwriting, claim processing, marketing, contracts, employee handbooks, conflict resolution and much more. When Sher founded Benefits Advisory Service, she took on numerous consulting projects, offering clients a unique advantage with her invaluable expertise having worked from all perspectives in the health care arena. In 2017, Benefits Advisory Service joined the OneGroup team of insurance, risk management, employee benefit and human resources specialists in order to offer her clients expanded resources and to better advocate on their behalf. Sher remains active in the health care community with local and national participation in the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), as an acting board member in the Queens Chamber of Commerce and OASAS Compensation Committee, and by attending critical meetings in Albany and Washington, D.C. She is also a firm believer in community service involvement and as such serves on numerous boards and continues to serve the Samaritan Foundation, and the Rego Park/Forest Hills Lions Club to name a few.
