Shelley Miller Director of New Ownership Opportunity at ICA Group Shelley has brought more than 25 years of diverse experience in business, law, nonprofit administration, and education to the ICA Group (ICA), where she currently works as the Director of New Ownership Opportunities. As a former small business owner, and the daughter of a small business owner, Shelley looks forward to sharing her personal experiences with other businesses as they explore and engage with different employee ownership models. Shelley joined ICA, a 45-year-old nonprofit business consultancy specializing in employee ownership transitions, in 2019. She leads a New York City team that works to expand the knowledge of, and appreciation for, the positive impact that employee-ownership can have, and to assists business owners in making the transition to employee ownership at retirement or during their tenure. Shelley holds a BA in Economics from Newcomb College at Tulane University and a JD from Tulane University School of Law.

Alexis Soterakis Attorney at Coran Ober P.C. Alexis Soterakis, Esq. of Coran Ober P.C. is a transactional attorney with nearly 20 years of small business experience. Her commercial practice in Flushing focuses on corporate formation and compliance, commercial real estate, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and secured transactions. She also advises clients with regard to intellectual property, labor and employment, and estate planning. She lives in Queens with her husband and two daughters. In spare time she enjoys watching classic movies and knitting (poorly).
