Join the Queens Chamber of Commerce, New York City Council Member Barry Grodenchik, and New York City Small Business Services on the 25th of June for a special townhall webinar focusing on businesses within Council Member Grodenchik's own District 23.

In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, it is more important now than ever before for us to support local businesses. They are our nation's largest employer and they employ the most vulnerable among us. Significant action must be taken in order to assist our local small businesses. As our state prepares for re-opening, we need to come together as a community and strategize on how to best help ourselves.

We will sit down with a panel of community stakeholders and discuss the future of Eastern Queens in the aftermath of the pandemic.

Highlights

  1. The event will feature a series of video testimonials from businesspeople within the district. These are our local stores serving the community of District 23. The focus of the testimonials will be on how these businesses fared during the pandemic and what are they looking forward to in the future.
  2. We will be going on a virtual tour of our own local Queens County Farm Museum. Located right in Glen Oaks, the Queens County Farm is one of the most attractive locations in Eastern Queens. Now we are bringing it to you, in a short virtual tour during the townhall.

This event is open to the public and has complimentary entry. The townhall will be held over the Zoom online meeting platform. The meeting link is included in your email confirmation after you register but is also located below for convenience.
