Allied Health Careers Job Fair

Calling all healthcare job seekers! If you are looking for a career in healthcare and medical support, this event is for you! Open to members of the public and current students, the Allied Health Jobs fair is set to get you hired! Hosted by the Queens Chamber of Commerce and Plaza College, qualified applicants will be able to meet employers who have career opportunities. So come equipped with your resume, dress sharp, and be ready to speak with hiring managers from up to twenty organizations.

At the Allied Health Jobs Fair, Hospitals, Urgent Care Centers, Physician's Practices, and any members seeking Allied Health Positions will be given the opportunity to meet with medical support personnel, including but not limited to, Medical Assistants, Patient Navigators, Billing and Coding Specialists, Medical Records Specialists, Medical Scribes, Front Desk Administrators, etc. Applicants will be comprised of both Plaza College Alumni/Current Students and members of the public.

Also included in the Job Fair is an Information Session from 2:30-4:00PM, presented by the NYC Office of Labor Policy and Standards:

Labor Laws and Employer Obligations

• This training will explain the work OLPS does with a focus on the laws we enforce and provide education on.
• The training will educate participants on some the newest protections for the city's most popular industries for low and mid-income workers
• The training will educate participants on how to connect with OLPS
