David Antar

David Antar is a true entrepreneur at heart, with over 30 years in the security industry. Over that time, he has started several successful high-tech companies based on a keen ability to understand the needs of his customers and the trends in the marketplace that drive business growth. David founded A+ Technology & Security Solutions in 1989 and today it has grown into one of the largest providers of IP Video Surveillance throughout the New York Metropolitan area. A+ is headquartered in an 18,000 square foot facility in Bay Shore, New York with a 7,000 square foot New England operation in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
David has founded two additional technology companies that operate from the Bay Shore Headquarters. IPVideo Corporation is a security solutions manufacturer and software developer that sells exclusively through a worldwide dealer network. A+ STEM Labs is an innovator in STEM teaching solutions and has over 1000 mobile science labs in the New York City school system. In 2012, all business units were combined under the umbrella of a single holding company, Advance Convergence Group (ACG).
David explains, “Having a customer centric philosophy is crucial to any successful business and it’s extremely important to stay on top of the latest technology in today’s changing marketplace. Rick Cadiz drives the sales and marketing direction for Advanced Convergence Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries including A+ Technology and Security. He has a consistent 25-year background in the information technology and services industries along with strong sales management skills in IT consulting, IT outsourcing, managed services, security, networking, storage, cloud solutions, telecommunications, and SAAS. In addition, he has experience in building strategic partnerships, channels and vertical markets with an extensive knowledge of the public-sector markets including K12, Higher Education, Government and Healthcare.
Mr. Cadiz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Deputy Chief A.D.A at Queens County District Attorney's Office
Christina Hanophy has been an Assistant District Attorney with the Queens County District Attorney’s office since 1991. She serves as Deputy Chief of the Economic and Environmental Crimes Bureau, and Chief of its Counter-Terrorism Unit. During her tenure, Ms. Hanophy has been assigned to numerous trial bureaus, the Appeals Bureau, and the Organized Crime and Rackets Bureau. It was there that she began the Counter-Terrorism Unit. For her work on complex white collar investigations, Ms. Hanophy was named both the New York Metro Prosecutor of the Year and the United States Prosecutor of the Year by the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.
Ms. Hanophy graduated from Fairfield University in 1988, and attended St. John’s University, School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in June of 1991.

Joe Pangaro

Joseph Pangaro is a retired 27-year veteran police officer, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant in 2013. Lt. Pangaro was the lead training instructor of his police agency and certified as an instructor by the NJ Police Training Commission. Lt Pangaro was trained in school Security Assessments by the Dept. of Homeland Security. Lt. Pangaro is also a trained and certified Crime prevention officer who continues to train police officers at police academies throughout the Northeast. Lt. Pangaro has built the curriculum for school security training programs including “Plan and Prepare” and “Planning the Active Shooter Drill”. These programs are based on his experience as a police training officer and delivered to hundreds of police officers and schools in the region. He has also created multiple training programs, both classroom and hands on based, designed for the school, law enforcement and business communities on topics of safety and security, proper investigations, anti-drug awareness, cyber bullying, interview skills and violence response.
Lt. Pangaro has written many articles on safety and security for multiple publications including: The FBI World Wide magazine, NJ COPS, Blue Magazine, and The New South Wales Law Enforcement Gazette and won awards for his school safety and security articles for children on the Autism Spectrum from Autism Parents Magazine. He has also been featured in newspaper reports and on national radio with reference to school security and safety.
In addition to security training programs, Lt. Pangaro provides Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessments (TVRA’s) for schools and businesses since 2008 In 2013 Lt. Pangaro took on the challenges of school security directly as the Director of School Safety and Security for the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District in NJ. He attends many school security training programs hosted by the Dept. of Homeland security and the Dept. of Education to continue to enhance his knowledge of best practices. The combination of a career in law enforcement and school security has provided Lt. Pangaro with a unique view of school safety and security needs, as well as an eye for uncovering the weaknesses in the security of these facilities. Lt. Pangaro is dedicated to keeping children, teachers, adults and officers safe. It is his passion.
John
Rafferty

John leads with and instills upon his employees the same dedication, attention to detail, and responsiveness he exemplified in the NYPD. Upon his retirement, John was one of the most decorated Lieutenants in the NYPD. He was assigned to some of the busiest, crime ridden commands in Brooklyn, NY which revealed a proven track record for combating crime. He was the recipient of the second highest honor of the police department; the Combat Cross.
John began his career in the 67th precinct and dedicated most of his time in Anti-Crime. He then quickly rose through the ranks of Sergeant and Lieutenant. John was assigned to Housing PSA 3 as a Sergeant and shortly thereafter became assigned as the Street Narcotic Enforcement Unit Sergeant and eventually the Anti-Crime Sergeant, covering the housing projects in Brooklyn North. He then went on to become the BRAM and Squad sergeant in the 60th Precinct Detective Squad. John was later assigned as the Commanding Officer of the 62 Precinct Detective Squad and then promoted to Lieutenant and assigned as the Special Operations Lieutenant in the 73rd Precinct in Brownsville, Brooklyn.
In 2009, John retired, entering the private sector.
John is an expert in his field, bringing this extensive experience in dealing with crime and crime prevention to the forefront of WATCH GUARD’s day-to-day operations. He is an expert witness providing testimony in court and is frequently featured on Fox News as a commentator on security issues. John graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in Criminal Justice.
