Join the Queens Chamber of Commerce on November 13 for **"AI in Aviation: Transforming Operations and Driving Innovation,"** an in-depth panel discussion at Vaughn. Industry leaders, including Roel Huinink from JFK IT and Suzette Noble from LaGuardia Gateway Partners, will share insights on how AI is revolutionizing airport operations. Topics will include AI applications for predicting passenger flows, optimizing aircraft turnarounds, and improving decision-making with real-time data. The event will also explore practical AI uses for students and local businesses.

The session will feature 40 minutes of presentations followed by a 50-minute panel discussion. Refreshments will be served, and on-site parking is available—please enter through the 23rd Ave and 90th St entrance. This is a unique opportunity to network with aviation and tech professionals while learning about the future of AI in aviation.

Roel Huinink currently serves as the President & CEO of JFKIAT, the company that
manages Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport. He leads Terminal 4’s
dedicated management team and is responsible for developing, communicating and
executing strategic and tactical plans for T4.
Mr. Huinink is an experienced executive with an extensive knowledge in the airport
business. He has a 15-year history with Royal Schiphol Group, where he held various
management positions from 1999 to 2014, including as Managing Director of Arlanda
Schiphol Development Company, a retail management enterprise in Sweden, and as
Director of Parking & Mobility Services at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in The
Netherlands. Furthermore, he served as an executive in the management board of
Norwegian based Travel retail and high street retailer Airport Retail Group.

Steven V. McCory is the Sales Director at Virtual Guarding, where he channels his extensive expertise and passion for innovation into driving success and advancing the company's VSaaS (Virtual Security as a Service) offerings. With a focus on integrating cutting-edge technologies and revitalizing traditional security guard services, Steven aims to provide customized solutions that effectively protect people and property.

With over 14 years of experience in the security industry, Steven has a robust background in enterprise-level security solutions for FED/SLED accounts. He has held various key roles, including Director of Operations and Business Development, Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Service Manager, and Coordinator, working for national companies with a global footprint. His career has been marked by his technical expertise in project management, attention to detail, and ability to inspire and lead teams effectively.

Steven's skill set extends to performing risk and vulnerability assessments, and applying best practices to mitigate both cyber and physical security threats. He holds over 160 professional certifications, including the highly-regarded CSPM, and is a Registered Practitioner with the Cyber AB, holding his CMMC-RP. His industry involvement includes serving on several advisory boards that span from Veterans In Security, Utility Advisory Board and Several other comitees

Licensed by the State of New York, Steven has also worked as a Security Training Officer for two municipal school districts, collaborating closely with law enforcement on security management and training.

A combat veteran of the U.S. Army, Steven was deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, where he served with the 82nd Airborne Division as an AFATDS Operator. He holds a B.S. in Law Enforcement Technology from SUNY Farmingdale and an A.S. in Criminal Justice from Suffolk Community College, with aspirations to pursue an M.S. in Security Management.

Steven resides in Long Island, NY, with his wife Carla and their children, David and Hailey.

Suzette Noble, a Vantage Airport Group senior executive, is Chief Executive Officer, LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP), the private entity selected by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to manage and redevelop LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B.
Suzette joined LGP in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer, leading the delivery of an exceptional and seamless guest experience for all stakeholders, maximizing commercial revenue, and implementing process and metrics for the organization and its partners. Just over one year later, Terminal B was awarded 5 stars from Skytrax, a leading airport rating firm as well as named ‘World’s Best New Airport Terminal’.
