Mabell Fernandez (Market Access Program Director of Start Small Think Big)

Ms. Fernandez has spent the past nine years working in non- and for-profit sectors, both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Start Small, she worked at the World Economic Forum where she established, managed, and developed Strategic Partnerships with C-suite and senior executives across a portfolio of ten leading Fortune 100 companies. Before this, she spent four years working at a nonprofit organization in Boston that provides financial education and coaching to low-income families, empowering them to build savings and financial capabilities as a pathway out of poverty. She has also worked with women- and minority-owned small and medium sized businesses in Spain focusing primarily on business plan evaluations, cash projections, and financial planning. Ms. Fernandez obtained her B.A. in Economics and in International Relations with a focus on Economic Development from Boston University.
