10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety &

Health Program


This 10 Hour OSHA free training is designed to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. Emphasis is placed on the role of the construction worker in hazard recognition and avoidance, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.


Two days program

Training will start at 9:00 am until 2:30 pm

Upon completion of this OSHA training course, the student will be able to:

  • Recognize worker rights and employer responsibilities under OSHA
  • Identify major hazards that are predominant when using stairways and ladders on construction site
  • Define methods of controlling four main health hazards that construction worker may be exposed to
  • Identify ways to select appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and lifesaving equipment
  • Identify major focus four hazards and describe ways to prevent worker's exposure
  • Explain risks associated with unsafe use of scaffolding equipment on construction site


This training is free and limited to 20 seats. Only register respondents will be guaranteed a seat, so register today!

9:00a.m.-10:00a.m. MANDATORY Introduction to OSHA Standards, Frequently Cited Serious Citations, OSHA Act/ General Duty Clause 5(a) (1)-Subpart C: General Safety and Health Provisions, Competent Person, STD 3-1.1, "Clarification of Citation Policy Regarding 29 CFR 1926.20, 29 CFR 1926.21 and Related General Safety and Health Provisions"; Safety Programs 1904 Recordkeeping, Value of Safety and Health, OSHA Website and 800 Number, etc.

11:15a.m.-12:15p.m. Subpart E -Personal Protective & Life Saving Equipment, including respirators
