The Queens Chamber of Commerce, the office of Council Member Vickie Paladino, and the College Point Board of Trade are hosting a seminar on how businesses must comply with the Corporate Transparency Act on Thursday, December 5 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Queens Public Library Poppenhusen Branch (121-23 14th Ave, College Point, NY 11356). Most businesses must complete a report on Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) by January 1, 2025. Rolando Gonzalez, Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Aid Society, will present on who exactly needs to submit this information and how to satisfy the legal requirements of the Corporate Transparency Act.
